Left side of the floor looks similar or same as FWD, but right of course is totally different. Here you can see how 4x4 parts installed:

New OEM rear quaterpanels. Left side is cut, but parts are still fresh after 20+ years storage.

We understand that you are going to repare the body, wich is a huge work.
But seems that this car needs a lot of TLC in the engine, driveshafts, bushings, brakes etc etc...wich is a huge investment.
Are you going to do it right now or step by step, taking your time and feeling more comfortable with your wallet...and wife?
-
Luckily, wife is my main friend, assistant and supporter. She shares passion for P10, so that's a big deal
First of all we are planning to repair body/chassis, then it will be time for engine (need to buy another one), tranny, suspension and brakes.
And yes, it takes a lot of money, so this process will take a couple of years. But we prefer a quiet and, as far as possible, qualitative recovery without haste.

Dude seems that I should seriously consider travel to your country and look for a girlfriend there.
Almost imposible here find a girl who likes a car like the P10, too old for their taste...or too ugly, like a german girl told me during our first date months ago...even when she drives a 118d with «WRC »aftermarket sunshades bought in the cheapo fuel station...
-
One day we are going to Spain to meet you, cuz your P10 is legend. And, as I see in Instagram feed, Spanish P10 community still exists.
This summer we are going to Poland with eGT to meet Marcin Karpinski, who has two 4x4. If money allows, next year we plan to go to France to dealer, where eGT had sold in 1995. And when 4x4 will be ready, we hope to get to Sunderland (might be In 2020).
-
Will be a pleasure receive you both over here!
Well Primers Spanish community still exists...errrrm...yes, but mostly in FB, because the forums almost dissapeared in favour of patetic whatsapp groups. Also the meets dissapeared, only a couple of micro meets per year or so.
No real primera supporters imho
-
german girls dont like primeras ... we have to much vw here
is that on all p10 that they don t have a front subframe or only on the 4x4
-
My wife loves my P10.
So schnacke don't around.

Same shit. Here in Belarus, we try to meet 3–5 times per year.

P10 and P11 have almost identical front suspensions, only 4x4 models haven't front subframe, but rear is demountable.

It pleases that some new parts can still be found.

Glad to hear you are satisfied but I seriously recommend the jdm power folding mirrors, even if they have to be customized to fit properly in LHD cars.
At least for the people who keep our Ps in narrow garages, they make a huge difference.
Worse thing is most of the jdm are not heated...find a heated set is rarer than hen's teeth...I probably have one of the few powed folding +heated that exists out of japan, because they were optional and very expensive.
-
You just need G20 parts.
-
G20s dont have power folding mirrors, you can only use the G20 driver side base, to avoid customizing the jdm one.
Sadly the passenger side base cannot be used since it is plastic, so you have to customize the jdm one to lhd use. Im doing a spare one these days, welding is almost impossible because of the cheapo metal used in the construction...so metal mastics and sintetic welding are the way to go. Later, hours and hours working with putty to give everything the proper shape.
-
It's because the mounting angle, it's different from LHD and RHD Mirrors.
It's the same at my S13 mirrors.
-
I have heated powerfolding mirrors. JDM, so it's RHD. So I didn't see a shit in them.
That's why I purchased G20 mirror angles - LHD -and just put the JDM mirrors on them.
The mirrors are just mounted with three screws on each angle. That's all.
